Write Questions for Our Assessments

We are seeking question writers for MOCA Minute® and some of our exams. Writers will be responsible for preparing multiple-choice questions from assigned content areas and will be paired with experienced question editors who will provide guidance and feedback. The application deadline is Aug. 31. Current question authors do not need to reapply.

Our question authors must have valid, unexpired certification in anesthesiology or the subspecialty for which they are seeking to write questions and must be actively participating in MOCA 2.0®. Additionally, they must not participate in activities that may constitute a conflict of interest, such as exam review courses for which a fee is charged.

We'll notify applicants who have been selected as new question writers by Nov. 1. All new writers should attend an item-writing workshop on Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, at our office in Raleigh, N.C. A second workshop will be held in June 2019 for anyone who cannot attend in January.
