New Diplomates

Congratulations on earning your board certification! You are now a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology. We are pleased that you have made board certification an integral part of your professional experience.
Board certification symbolizes that a physician has met the highest standards for his or her practice in a medical specialty. It is a professional distinction that should be a source of pride for those who hold it. We want to make sure you have all the information you need to understand the value of board certification and how to maintain it.

Guidelines for Displaying Your D.ABA Status

D.ABA stands for Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). Board-certified anesthesiologists who wish to promote this distinction may display their D.ABA designation on their business cards, practice website, letterhead, LinkedIn account, and other professional properties.
