We fully appreciate that our residents and fellows are managing through an extraordinary event that calls for an extraordinary response. We appreciate all that you are being asked to do at your institutions right now and recognize that many of you have unique circumstances that are disrupting your training in different ways. Our Board of Directors wants to assure you that we will work with program directors to ensure that residents and fellows will not be adversely impacted by ABA requirements during this pandemic. Managing through COVID-19 will necessitate exceptions to our policies, which we will navigate carefully once this crisis has passed.
