ABA to Host Forum at 2022 ASA Annual Meeting

Following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ABA will once again be exhibiting at the ASA Annual Meeting on Oct. 21 to Oct. 25 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

Please join us at the ABA booth #2756 near the ASA Resource Center throughout the conference. Our Physician Engagement Specialist team will be there to field inquiries throughout the conference, assist with checking diplomates’ MOCA status and hand out the popular ABA socks. We are offering four new styles this year that are sure to go quickly!

Also returning to this year’s ASA Annual Meeting is the ABA Forum, which will be held on Sat., Oct. 22, from 3:45 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. ABA Vice President Mark T. Keegan, M.B., B.Ch. and Board Director Christian Diez, M.D., MBA, will share the latest news and information as well as field questions regarding MOCA, the value of certification, our research initiatives and other relevant topics.

“The ABA is continuously working to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology. We look forward to sharing those advancements with our diplomates and learning more from our colleagues about the ways in which we can continue to serve our specialty,” shares Dr. Keegan.

Topics for the forum include the value board certification, MOCA, assessment update, research initiatives and DEI advancements. In addition, there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and provide feedback via our polling tool. Questions can be submitted ahead of time here.

“I look forward to beginning my tenure on the ABA Board of Directors and am excited for the opportunity to engage with our diplomates and answer their questions at the ABA Forum and throughout the conference,” says Dr. Diez.

We are eager to greet and interact with our diplomates in person. We will see you at the ASA Annual Meeting!
