Dr. Christian Diez is vice chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Anesthesiology and professor of clinical anesthesiology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He obtained his bachelor’s, medical, and master’s in business administration degrees from the University of Miami. He completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
He specializes in trauma anesthesiology, in which he has assisted overseas, and was selected by the Department of Health and Human Services to serve on its Multi-Specialty Enhancement Team. In addition, he is past president of the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists.
Dr. Diez serves on the following ABA committees:
