Dr. Huang is enterprise chair of anesthesiology and the Wasmuth Endowed Chair in Anesthesiology Research at Cleveland Clinic.
As enterprise chair, he focuses on workforce wellbeing; patient access to timely, high-quality care; and advancing research, artificial intelligence, technology and care delivery models in anesthesiology.
An internationally recognized physician-scientist, Dr. Huang’s work spans clinical and translational research, with expertise in artificial intelligence, clinical outcomes research and perioperative medicine. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic, he served as professor and vice chairman of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine at the University of Louisville, where he also held leadership roles as associate dean for clinical research, chief scientific officer of UofL Health and deputy director of the Louisville Clinical and Translational Research Center.
Dr. Huang serves on the following ABA committees: Assessments Committee, Continuing Certification Committee, Research Committee, Standardized Oral Exam Committee
