About
Setting standards and leading innovation for the practice of anesthesiology since 1938
Ms. Pisacano is the ABA’s public member director. She is an associate general counsel for the University of Kentucky and director of Risk Management for UK HealthCare. She is an adjunct faculty at the University of Kentucky College of Law where she supervises an Externship for law students in the UK HealthCare Department of Risk Management.
Ms. Pisacano graduated from the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 1980 and worked as a registered nurse for nine years primarily in the operating room and labor and delivery. She graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law with honors in 1989 and worked as a medical malpractice defense trial lawyer in private practice for 18 years prior to assuming the directorship of the UK HealthCare Department of Risk Management in 2007.
Ms. Pisacano serves on the following ABA committees:
Audit Committee, Bylaws Committee, Credentialing Committee, Nonstandard Examinations Committee, STEEP Advisory Committee (Chair)
